The End of Morley

Week 14 - August 4, 2020

Just as we were making our bracket for transfers, the email came.

"Sister Rex you're going to Hiram!"

I hollered and jumped with the excitement of going somewhere new! But then I laid on the floor. Leave the Morley Farm?

As hard as it is to change, all I could think was "there is no growth in the comfort zone." Moving to the John Johnson Farm means it's #growthtime

There was a moment this week that I will never forget. It was unlike anything I have ever felt before, my entire heart ached for one of my sisters. She hid it well, but I could see how much she was hurting and I was on no terms to even begin to understand how she felt or what she was going through, but there was one thing I could do: be there. For a while we just sat in silence on opposite sides of a dark room, but then I crossed the barrier and wrapped my arms around her. She had put up a wall but it crumbled as we sat together, tears streaming down our faces.

It was in that moment that I realized the gravity of the Savior and His Atonement. All I could do was comfort her, but Christ... Christ heals. Christ knows. Christ redeems. REMEMBER THAT HE KNOWS YOU AND LOVES YOU AND IS AWARE OF YOU. You have someone that you can turn to who completely understands.

Remember that.

Love big! Love hard!
Sister Rex

PS I'm now at the John Johnson Farm that's a little outside of Kirtland, so let me know if you want a virtual tour of this place!

Last night with my Morley crew, the end of an era!!!

Tuning in for Sister Hansen's best friend's wedding, honestly a tender experience!

The OG Morley's all walked out and just looked out at our little farm. "Well boys, it's been a good run."

Might just pack this child in my suitcase (if you want to get a good laugh, let me know, there is an tragically embarrassing story involving this baby)

4 sisters might be 4 too many for this lil cart

A beautiful night of kickball and KILL

If you never did rhino noses, did you really have a childhood?

"BFF friendship feathers," mine blends right in (remember the hair feather trend??? Anyone??)

Here's a tender moment from my week: I woke up clear minded one morning and asked Heavenly Father what I needed to do that day. And the ...
