Week 15 - August 12, 2020

Car windows down, the wind blowing through your hair, hand out trying to hold the air, and the sun shining on your face, King & Country blasting.. one of the best feelings in the world!

Every day we drive through beautiful farm country and I'm out the window the whole time soaking it all in #wannabefarmgirl

My heart was so full on one of these drives home and in that moment, with my head and arm out the window, I couldn't even imagine anything bad happening. But then I realized that the reason I'm able to feel this joy is because I've felt hardship, allowing me to recognize and know that I was experiencing something good. We experience hard moments so that we can know what good feels like!

"I desired to feel."

Our feelings are what make experiences memorable. This week was full of small moments where my heart was filled:
-sitting in the field as the golden sun dipped below the green crops
-falling to the floor laughing with my sisters over the silliest things
-feeling a love beyond my own capacity for the random people that crossed passed with us
-remembering that God knows me and cares about the little things #tendermercies

Embrace your feelings, the good and the bad, and recognize that they are shaping the person you are becoming. Feelings give meaning!

Take a minute today and think- what has made you feel today?

Love big! Love hard!
